The character I am working on us Pepe le Pew, he was created in 1945. When they first created him they first named him stinky since he was a skunk. Instead of naming him that they named him Pepe le Pew after a French film in 1937, the films name was Pepe le Moko.
Pepe le pew is based on a colleague of Chuck Jones (the creator) his name is Tedd Pierce. Supposedly they created pepe after him because Tedd Pierce is a ladies man. Chuck Jones also says that Pepe le Pew was based on him since he was really shy with ladies and Pepe le Pew isn't, he goes after them as long as they look like a skunk.
One of the main characters that usually comes out with Pepe is Penelope Pussycat. Penolepe is a cat that accidentally gets a line of paint through her back which makes her look like a skunk. She usually gets this line by going under a recently painted fence. As soon as Pepe sees her he falls in love with her. She usually runs away from him because he smells or because he treats her really bad.
The first show that Pepe le Pew came out in is Odor-able kitty. In this cartoon Pepe follows a male cat that dressed as a skunk and instead of being French he is American and named Henry. The second cartoon he came out in is scent-imental over you. In this cartoon he follows a female dog that got a skunk pelt, in the end she reveals herself to be a dog and he also reveals himself to be a dog but, he is a skunk.
The most recent appearances that he has come out in are Looney Tunes, Space Jam, and in a AT&T valentine's day commercial where Penelope comes out too. Pepe le Pew doesn't come out much in the most recent appearances but he still comes out.

How Would my Future Job Fit in with Animation?
My future job would fit in the movie cars because I could help make some of the designs like clothes. for example some of the short animations of mater and the outfits they use on him like the hats or the cape and every other outfit that mater is wearing. I could help create those and that is how my future job could help out with the movie of cars or with any other animation.
What I learned from my tutorial
I learned how to
- unwrap the UV's
- create a new layer
- apply planar mapping
- bend handle
- delete the history
And that is all I learned form the tutorial

Why did it bridge why didn't it bridge
Mine helmet didn't bridge because I didn't have enough points and because I missed one of the limps which I had to make. That was one of the reasons I didn't have enough points. When I would Bridge mine the bridge looked very awkward like a whirlpool. So that was my issue.
what new things I did today?
Some new things that I did today is I learned how to loft a surface and how to make NURBS into Polygons.

Things I don't know from the tutorial
- how to loft a surface
- Unwrap the UVs
- how to apply cylindrical mapping
- how to apply planar mapping
- how to add a layer
- how to bend the leaf
- put in the hypershade
- Activate your Joint tool

I picked a palm tree
Why I Picked it?
I wanted to make something that works with nature I thought about making a tree and the only thing I got in the results is that I got a palm tree

Edge Loops
What is the purpose of changing these settings?
The purpose of changing the setting of an tool is that you will make the tool work different than what it is used to work as.
How does each new setting change how the tool works?
Each new setting will change the way the tool works because it helps the tool work different by
changing the way the object looks
What happens when you change the Multiple Edge Loops, Number of Edge Loops, and the Auto Complete?
What happens is that there is either more edge loops or less edge loops, it puts more or less number of edges, and it turns on the auto complete or it turns it off

2 Things
2 Different tools we used
- split polygon tooll I used them by making my vertical and horizontal lines to make the shield of the helmet fit more.
- We used the Append to Polygon Tool which helped us by making the shield for the mask I did i† b¥ going to edit mesh and clicking the tool and just putting the points in the helmet

My image
My Image is a wolf
I picked it because I think it is a really pretty animal and easy to draw
What I think is going to be an challenge is too draw the tongue of the wolf sticking out.

3, 2, 1 things
3 Things I learned
2 challenges I faced
1 resolution
- I learned how to extend a figure
- I learned how to use vertices, faces, and edges
- I learned how to make a cube look like a sphere/oval
2 challenges I faced
- a challenge I faced was putting the jaw part on the helmet
- a challenge I faced was understanding some parts of the instructions
1 resolution
- reading the instructions over and over and looking at the pictures made me understand more the instructions.

What I'd like to do Someday...."
What I’d like to do someday is to be a fashion designer and have my own business. What I would love to do when I actually do that is that most of the money I would make would go to charities like breast cancer and giving food to people in Africa that don’t really have much money and things to live. Also I would donate some of the clothes I design to people who really need the most. I would do all of those things and more, but I want to make my store first and make more to give more money away to charities and things like that. So that is What I’d like to do someday.

Compare & Contrast
The similarities we used in all of them was that we all used primitives in creating our objects. We put details in our creation which is another similarity. a difference is that I used NURBS to create a part of my building. We all created really different things which is another difference. Also that we used different objects to create our object.

How was it creating your first Maya creation?
It was a good experience to learn how to use Maya by ourselves but it is difficult to make everything exactly how you want it to look. I didn't have enough time to put in color because I was fixing every window that I have in my building. So if you want it to look exactly how you want to you need to put in a lot of time especially when you start animating the stuff. So you really have to focus when you start making your animation.

Elements
How to create the shapes?(ratio, angle, and shape)
Channel box details
Transform rotate scale
- The first thing I created would be a rectangle(cube) that is named as building. how I created it would be by going to the main menu> create> polygon primitives> go down to cube and click on the option box. (Channel box details) Translate x(0) y(6) z(0) Rotate x(0) y(0) z(0) Scale x(1) y(1) z(1)
- Second thing I created would be a cylinder that is named door. How I created this object is by going to the main menu> create> NURBS primitives> go down to cylinder and click on it when you go down to the selection box you go down to the degrees and put in 180. you just click in the screen. then you go to the channel box or to the move tool and position it where you want the cylinder to be. (Channel box details) translate x(0) y(-0.124) y( 3.19) rotate x(-90.283) y(0) z(0) Scale x(1) y(1) z(1)
- Third thing i created was a sphere named top of building. I went to the main menu > create> NURBS primitives > Click on sphere> go down to the setting box > go to degrees and change it to 180 > click on the screen > go to the rotate tool and rotate the sphere > then go to the move tool and position the sphere on top of the building (Channel box details) Translate x(0) y( 12.139) z(0) Rotate x(.88.704) y( 5.892) z (0) Scale x(1) y (1) z (. 5)

3D proposal
What i am creating in 3D would be a Building in Maya.
My elements would be
My elements would be
- 4 rectangles or cubes
- 1 sphere
- 1 cylinder
- 68 squares

What did you face & what did you learn?
How to change the selection mode to a component mode was a problem I faced
What I learned is that you can do some parts by yourself but not if you don't know what you're supposed to be doing

How to rotate and position the Sphere?
You can you use the rotate tool which is the sphere, and you can use the channel box to move the place the sphere is positioned at, so you can change the x, y, or z axis in translate, rotate, and scale it.
